Global MapAid, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, was formed with the aim of supplying specialist maps to humanitarian decision makers at all levels, predominantly in slow onset disasters such as famine, but also when necessary in rapid onset disasters such as a flood. GMA is intent upon supporting aid efforts by assisting in the provision of mapping and corresponding communication systems for humanitarian organizations. Maps are detailed of nature and will include population, food security, AIDS, refugee and famine data.

Feedback
We realize the work in Indonesia is important, but we must NOT forget Africa either. This would represent a loss of integrity on our part. If you strongly feel that your donation should go to one region rather than another, please notify us by email. If you would like to follow the serious GMA adventure, and be added to our emailing list please send us a blank email with the words 'GMA reporting please' in the subject header and we will add you to our list. We promise NOT to flood you with emails.

Thank you.
